Take backs don’t really happen, do they. Once something comes out of our mouths we can’t take it back. I have personally heard things that made me ask – how do you really feel – with my tongue buried deep into my cheek. The Bible tells us in multiple ways that the tongue and the mouth are powerful devices that can be uplifting or devastating, encouraging or corrupting. We are to choose to “use our words” wisely and in Godly ways.
