There is an aspect to our battle ready posture that has yet to be mentioned…our connection to command headquarters. No military goes into battle without a group of tacticians and strategists who are mapping out the plans for victory and directing the troops on the ground accordingly. It is the job of those in the fight to stay connected to command central because they have a view that the common soldier does not. It may include a drone in the sky or a satellite in the atmosphere or a forward observer on the next building or mountain top over. No matter what, when we loose the contact with command central we are on our own and rarely does that go well. Prayer is our connection to the One in charge. It’s how we gain vital intel in the fight of our lives.
