The final part of the Sermon on the Mount tells us that many people will think that they are following Jesus, but they really haven’t been. Many Christians use their faith to check of a box each week. We think we are Christians because we attend a service, or we believe certain things, or we vote certain ways or we like and dislike the right things from a list. Being a true believer so much more than a regiment of steps and beliefs. What does it mean to truly follow Jesus? What does it mean to be a true believer?
