The world began in darkness. Before God spoke the light into existence there was only darkness. There are times in our lives that can feel very dark. An unplanned 3:00 in the morning time of being wide awake, a diagnosis that rocks our world, something that happens to one of our family members that leaves us in a dark place. There is something about the darkness that feels permanent, even when we know it’s not. Darkness is challenging.
