MEMORIAL WEEKEND ROADSIDE REST STOP YOUTH FUNDRAISER

Our Ignite Student Ministries will again be hosting a weekend of free refreshments to travelers on Interstate 81 over the Memorial Day weekend, May 26-29. Hot and cold drinks, breakfast items, hot dogs and homemade treats will be distributed in hopes of receiving $5000 in donations to support their mission trips to Cherokee Nation, NC and Washington, DC. this summer.

We are always humbled by the way our congregation comes together to support us in this endeavor. If you are able to create a homemade treat we will gladly accept them @ Colonial Park in Sholter Hall on Wednesday, May 24th from 6-9 p.m. (Suggested treats are brownies, cookies, muffins, trail mix, pound cake, Rice Krispie treats. Please note: no cupcakes – icing does not do well in the heat! All treats should be individually wrapped.) Can’t bake and still want to help? We would love to have gift cards from Giant/Weis/Karns to help defray costs of ingredients and supplies. (Purchasing them through the church also means that 5% of your donation will go to the We Believe capital campaign.)

Thank you for your support!
