Why We Give

Scripture tells us that giving is a spiritual discipline that draws us into a deeper relationship with Christ. Malachi 3:10 says Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it (NIV). At CrossPoint, our mission is to Love God, Love Others and Make Disciples. Giving back to God demonstrates our faithfulness to this mission.

 

What it's for

Your giving is what translates our vision into action here at home, through support of our Nursery School, Day Care, Food Pantry and Clothing Connection, and throughout the world in our sister church in Sierra Leone, and Christian missionaries in Southeast Asia. Our Missions page explains more about these ministries.

Ways to GIVE

Of course, most folks are familiar with the traditional way of giving to the church; offerings taken during our services remains the most commonly used method. Contact the church office (717-545-1911) to be added to our monthly envelope mail service. Envelope packets will be mailed to your home each month. There are however, other increasingly popular options available such as PayPal, and bank transfer. Click on these links for more information.

How do I give to the We Believe Campaign?

We Believe is our Capital Campaign, funding initiatives at every campus to move us to the next step of ministry. Simply designate your one-time gift or an ongoing donation to the We Believe Capital Campaign.

Can I schedule recurring contributions?

Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one-time or recurring. We offer giving through our website, using the secure non-profit option via PayPal or through direct bank transfer. To utilize our direct bank transfer, download the form and submit it to the church office.

Will I still receive a contribution statement?

Yes. Everyone who contributes $100 or more in a calendar year will receive a contribution statement for their records, regardless of the giving method chosen.

What if I need to change credit card information, transaction date, or the amount of a contribution?

You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at any time, including the credit card, bank account information, frequency and amount by simply accessing your financial institution account online. Is online giving safe? Is my financial information secure?

We take this very seriously. CrossPoint’s online giving is managed by PayPal.  For their security and privacy policy, click on the link here.
